About aasaelsewhere

I like Saskatchewan fine, but am hitting the road soon anyway. First on the itinerary: Portugal, England, Ireland, then England again. I have Yellow Fever immunity, a pending visa, and a blank passport, and can't promise anything.

    It’s beautiful isn’t it!

However, it’s suppose to get “cold” again next week!

Cold shmold. Winter here was pretty easy, compared to home. The weather is unbelievable right now though – I just walked up Arthur’s Seat, and it was awesome.

We have never made it up to the top, though when we did it, we went up the west face, which is really steep. I think next time we try it, maybe this summer, we’ll go up along the ridge from the east!

    Ah yeah……..rub it in………………..
    love mom

That picture makes me want to cry. The groundhog said 6 weeks of winter, not six months. Guess it doesn’t help that I’m working in Northern Frickin BC.

I am reminiscing again. That photo looks just like an Easter I was in Britain about 1978, 1980 when I took “the kids”. Daffodils and crocuses grow in such profusion there, which I cannot duplicate here.

Did you get to see my first day of spring picture I was tagged on in facebook?

  8. Susan says:

lovely picture……….I saw a crow eating a road-kill gopher……..that’s our prairie sign of spring.
